This project is a personal endeavor where I selected brands within Canada that had a need for an app. I conducted systematic user research on these brands to collect feedback effectively. Based on this feedback, I developed customized designs tailored to the users' needs. Through this project, I have expanded my design capabilities and expertise, contributing to the enhancement of my skills in the professional field.

Project Overview

This project aims to assess the feasibility of developing a mobile application for "Pet Valu", known as Canada's largest pet retailer. Currently, Pet Valu only has a website, so developing a mobile app can provide customers with greater convenience and potentially boost purchases, especially with the increasing reliance on mobile devices. Creating a mobile app is crucial for the company to maintain competitiveness and meet customer expectations.

Problem

In today's society, there is a growing reliance on mobile devices, making online shopping through mobile platforms increasingly convenient. However, Pet Valu currently does not align with this trend, resulting in customers experiencing inconvenience and facing the challenge of not easily accessing the desired information through mobile devices. Additionally, the absence of an online reservation feature for pet services on the current website further limits the overall customer experience. The inclusion of such a feature would enhance the convenience and satisfaction of our customers.

Solution

Through our mobile application, we aim to provide services that align with current trends, offering customers convenience at their fingertips. From easy ordering and delivery to seamless booking of pet services such as grooming, dog wash, and adoption, our mobile app ensures accessibility anytime, anywhere. Additionally, within the application, we deliver a variety of content, including the latest pet trends, health information, and educational materials, enriching our customers' pet lifestyles. Pet Valu's mobile app strives to bring customers a delightful experience through convenience and a wealth of information.
