Project Overview

This project comprises works I created while working as a junior graphic designer in a hackathon project at Seneca Polytechnic. In the first year, I designed posters and Instagram promotional posts. Subsequently, in the following year, I conceptualized and designed a new logo.

Through this project, I had the opportunity to enhance my design skills and gain valuable experience. I take pride in fulfilling my role diligently and contributing to the achievement of the team's goals.

2023 Smart cities Hackathon Main Poster

The main focus of the Smart City Hackathon poster was to emphasize how smart cities enhance people's lives. It highlighted the importance of collaboration among participants to develop creative ideas that would improve urban living standards. The poster depicted people working together in collaboration, showcasing the essence of teamwork.

2024 Housing Hackathon Logo Design

The Housing Hackathon aims to explore solutions to various housing-related challenges and collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to build a more sustainable and inclusive housing environment. Therefore, the logo was designed to visually convey this intention by incorporating symbols of housing and integrating the 'H' of the hackathon with the 'H' of the house within the housing symbol. This symbolic logo represents the fusion of the hackathon's objectives with participants' creativity and collaboration in addressing housing issues.
